Alteia – Terms & Conditions
1. Appointments
– Booking: Appointments can be made via phone, email, or in person at our Kidds Beach, East London studio.
– Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation of your booking. Please check the date, time, and service details.
– Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary consultation forms. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
– Cancellation notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
– Late cancellation (less than 24 hours): A fee of 50% of the service price will apply.
– No-show: Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a 100% charge of the booked service.
– Exceptional circumstances: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
3. Payments
– Payment methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and electronic transfers.
– Payment timing: Full payment is required at the time of service, unless you have purchased a prepaid package.
– Packages: Prepaid packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
4. Packages & Expiry
– Validity: All prepaid packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
– Extensions: Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis. Please speak to us before your package expires.
– Refunds: Prepaid packages and individual services are non-refundable. However, packages may be transferred to another person with prior written consent from Alteia.
– Price changes: Prices are subject to change. Prepaid packages will be honoured at the original price until expiry.
5. Health & Safety
– Consultation form: All clients must complete a health consultation form before their first treatment and inform us of any changes to their health thereafter.
– Contraindications: Some treatments may not be suitable for certain medical conditions, pregnancy, or medications. Please disclose all relevant health information truthfully and fully.
– Right to refuse: Alteia reserves the right to refuse or modify a treatment if it is deemed unsafe for the client.
– Pregnancy: Please inform us before booking if you are or may be pregnant, as some treatments are not suitable.
6. Results & Expectations
– Individual results vary: Results from slimming, healing, and anti-aging treatments vary from person to person. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
– Lifestyle factors: Optimal results are best achieved when treatments are combined with a healthy diet, exercise, and proper hydration.
– No medical claims: Our treatments are wellness and aesthetic services. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Liability
– Loss or damage: Alteia is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the studio.
– Injury: While our treatments are non-invasive and generally very safe, you assume full responsibility for any risks associated with the services. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
– Medical emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, we will contact emergency services. Any associated costs are the client’s responsibility.
8. Code of Conduct
– Respectful behaviour: We maintain a calm, respectful environment. Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in immediate refusal of service and banning from the studio.
– Mobile phones: Please silence your mobile phone upon arrival to maintain a relaxing atmosphere for all clients.
9. Privacy
– Your personal and health information will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing your treatments. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law. Please see our full Privacy Policy for details.
10. Changes to Terms & Conditions
– Alteia reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to all bookings made after the date of change.
